MMP: Minimalist Media Player

The latest release of MMP: Minimalist Media Player can be downloaded directly, for free, from this link to the zip file

This is v6.2.3 released 2026/03/01
(Release Notes)

• Download the zip file and unzip to any folder, e.g. c:\MMP\
  
• Run the mmp-install.bat from the \install\ folder to register all the file extensions that MMP supports
• On the first tab of the Shift-[\] Config Dialog, set Open Image in Browser and Exit Browser = Exit MMP

If you already have MMP installed, this latest release can be auto-downloaded from MMP's About Box¹⁾ (Ctrl [A])
You need to set Auto Update in the Shift-[\] Config Dialog

An entire release requires ~537MB of disk space and is contained in a .zip file which is ~205MB, making a total of about 742MB of disk space required to download the .zip file and unzip it
The majority of this disk space requirement is taken by FFmpeg and FFprobe, both 200MB each
